Hi there,

Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase a printed (book like) copy of the PB 4.30 manual. Nice to be able to thumb through a manual and make notes within it. Really good if you are travelling and want to read it without your PC being on.

Thanks & Regards,

Peter.

You could download & print the pdf-version of the manual (found at http://www.purebasic.com/documentation/PureBasic.pdf), although I'm not sure if it's completely up-to-date. The basic syntax rules haven't changed though, so it's good for learning anyway.

The pdf manual is up to date with the manual included in the 4.30 release.
There is also a version without the library reference (uses less ink and paper ;))

Its all available here (also in french and german):

Sorry I wasn't being clear, I am referring to a printed bound manual. Like what you would buy in a book store.

I have been using the PDF manual that you get from the website already. Just liked the idea of having a proper bound book that I could read through.

Regards,
Peter

You are clear, and it's not available. You have to print it yourself or pay someone (like cafepress) to print it for you.

Afaik this is available in the boxed version of purebasic. But its the manual of PureBasic 3.30 (Or 4.0 in the 4.0 editions?).

[EDIT]
WTF!!! 700 pages?! The 3.30 Manual was thin like a toast and was the whole help file.

The pictures in the pdf are garbled.

The quality is so bad, one can read this hardly, printing out probably rather pointlessly.

Which ones ?

The pdf is meant for printing, not for reading on the screen. Thats why it seems to look bad on screen. For reading on the screen, use the chm version.
