If anybody want to use the 'Windows XP Visual Styles' for his application:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/defau ... okbook.asp

then you will be informed how to create a manifest (xml) file for your application.

Don't forget to set the file attributes (of the manifest file) to read only! <- important

Easiest way: copy the 'PureBasic.exe.manifest' (from the purebasic root folder) to your application path by replacing 'PureBasic.exe' with 'YourProgramName.exe'. And that's it.

Yeah right, but I have no 'PureBasic.exe.manifest' file in my purebasic root folder.
Did I miss something or are you working/speaking with/about PureBasic Version 2.8?
