I noticed in the doc for the PB Scintilla component it says:

Note: The MacOSX version of this library is an unofficial port of Scintilla done by the PureBasic Team and does not support all features and messages described in the Scintilla documentation.

But on the Scintilla website, it says it runs natively on OS X as of version 1.74 ... http://www.scintilla.org/
Is this an obsolete note in the PB doc and PB is using Scintilla 1.74 (or newer) or is PB still using their own port of Scintilla for OS X?

We use our old implementation as the official one doesn't wokr on regular carbon windows (needs the composited attribute).
