I'm sorry for the recent problems with the forums. Basically, the backup process failed to "flag" as complete and the site was not re-instated [sigh]

My backup procedure/script:

. Take site off-line.
. Download database(s).
. Compact and repair database(s).
. Upload database(s).
. Complete.
. Bring site back on-line.

All should be back to normal again now...

Leigh.

It works again. It was not a so long time broken obvisouly PB forum was missing to my today's tasks.

BTW the Website itself was OK (but not so much information except using the forum!).

I am using PB and the forum pages since may of this year, I believe (!) and except some slow access from time to time, I find this is running fine most of the time.

Maybe we should try to have a 'backup' site somewhere in case of earthquake ! Sometimes ..it happens.

Is there any possibility to generate a text file for download from the
entire forum, to have a complete "knowledge base" for offline usage?
Just a suggestion...

I will be looking at that soon (time permitting) as quite a few ppl have now requested an off-line version of the forum. Watch this space...
