Just as a side note, your average smilie count per post has risen to at least
3 since you're answering Kwai's coding questions...

I just had to log in to say this is/was hilarious. Whenever I'm feeling stressed at work I think I will go over to the original thread to re-read the whole thing.

Oh, and to check if there's anything new with COMate, I suppose.

I also use Google translate to translate English > American. It's the best translator I've found... but doesn't work on words like "pint" or "ale" :-)

I browsed Google's translate site some... what about adding their translate feature to the forums? Here's the code to do it:

Code: Select all

<script src="http://www.gmodules.com/ig/ifr?url=http://www.google.com/ig/modules/translatemypage.xml&up_source_language=en&w=160&h=60&title=&border=&output=js"></script>

J'espère que tu ne vas pas dans un pays anglophone spécialement pour poser des questions sur le forum anglais! Sinon, y'a le tunnel, hein! Quand je pense que je me réjouïssais que tu sévisses sur les forums VB!

Poor english people! May Fred be with them!

It's not serious, you have the language the most speaking in the world.
Somebody said it's the spanish, but pfffft it's funny that ....
It's simple to you, to travel.
Mc donald happy meal, coaching, baby sitting, week end, car jacking, wc (Water closed), ......and more and more, it's all word french
but you in english, have you : "saucisson, fromage, grenouille a la provençale, vin rouge , baguette de pain" when me in england i'm lost
Oh well, at least I can speak Purebasic
No you don't speak PureBasic, you EXCEL PureBasic 8)
Me i speak a little bit purebasic, but under torture

Thanks for this tip

Mais j'y vais sur le forum VB, mais alors la y sont encore plus triste que sur le forum anglais, et encore je suis pas allé sur un forum VB anglais , ça doit etre le ponpon sur le kebab
En fait IDLE a raison c'est peut etre pas que les anglais sont moins drole, meme si ils ne se font jamais la bise
Mais plutot que seuls les vrais anglais ou americains peuvent faire de l'humour, et quand ils en font nous on comprend pas
Alors ça doit blaser :?

Good night at all the forum

Like IDIOTMAN need to sleep
Yes for to be again more strong the following day, and can ask again more IDIOT question

It's never too late.

Worst that can happen is that you die before reaching fluency :P

Either way, learning a language later in life is just a big long shade of grey. There's no line you ever cross where you can say "I did it" or "a few more months and I'm done". You just slowely get better and one day think, "I suppose I should stop saying 'I only speak a little' as that's not really true I guess..."

:)

Yes, it's never too late, but it's always more difficult :D
Me for example, after two years of school, and several years for learning myself, i can't read the full text of an english label yoghurt .............

In fact, perhaps that i eat a sample for the breading of the cattle, since several years ago
