Hi everyone,
I googled for 'PureBasic', and it came up with this:
http://soft-buy.net/buy-cheap-purebasic ... -price.php so I am wondering, is this legal? I already have a registered version of PB so it doesn't concern me, but I'm just wondering if that whole website is illegal?
Thanks.

No, it is not legal. I suspect that you wouldn't even receive the software if you tried.

Aah okay yeah. You have to be careful nowadays with what you purchase, especially software not from manufacturers.
Thanks.

I notice it is version 4.1... Not the current 4.2 and soon to be current 4.3! I suppose some idiot thinks that since 4.2 is the current that 4.1 MUST be abandonware!
If you bought it from them I doubt you would get free updates!
Burn them!!!

I am thinking Alex Rodriguez is a very common name in Finland or in the NL in general... isn't it?

We could code a worm to take over the worlds computers and DDOS them off the web. Did I mention we would program it in PureBasic?

It's extremely difficult to prosecute people (if you can even find them) for this kind of thing. You need cooperation across borders involving police forces that are already over burdened. In some jurisdictions it's a cival matter where your option is to sue them for damages, which is also difficult and very costly.
Occasionally you will see a major task force crack down on some of this, but it's rare.
Sad, but that's the way it is.

"Rodrigez" (without "u") isn't a spanish surname, but Lappeenranta is very close to Russia, and in spanish ward (1936-1939), many spanish children were sent to live in Russia, and they never returned.
Probably he is a descendant from someone from they.

Run this for a while (using threadsafe) and they will probably shut down (I think they already have, lol, one laptop did the job)

Just wait until I'll include it in the next update of JLC's Internet TV and make it shut down Microsoft.com

(kidding)
Yeah, I know that doing stuff like this is on the edge.

But it is a very nice bit of coding... hiding it in an app is another thing.
