You will have to setup IIS. Or better, use G6FTP Server or ServU

Yep, I think this is the best way.
By the way, next question: How can I disable the internal FTP Service of Win 2000? Otherwise I will get a "Port 21 in use" message.

Hm....

It must be a service, and service can be disabled.
(look at Service / Dienste )

Couse Port 21 is a standard port for FTP Services and I can be sure that there wont come any other app that wants to allocate this port. :)

Yeah its a service , you can stop it by bringing up your services task manager.
:)

BTW : G6FTP is fused with bulletproofFTP , they now are 1 program.
ServU is good 2 , but costs money.

Try http://www.tucows.com or http://www.downloads.com if you want free ftp programs.
But i warn you, *some* programs are spyware, so watch and read carefully before using it!
