CMCC-09 is now well underway ;)

Good luck to all

I'm still looking for more prize providers for all categories (especially the non game category at the moment .. its falling behind the others in prizes), so if your interested then give me a PM or email

I know of people interested in the contest using a variety of languages , ThinBasic , DarkBasic Pro, Brutus2d, basic4gl, Blitz range, Power basic , Pure basic , Emergence Basic. I'm sure this list will grow as time advances. Please help me make this one of the biggest coding contests around. Spread the word about it in what ever coding community you go into.

If your interested but don't think your good enough to go it alone then maybe try teaming up with others or just have a go anyway .. its free, fun, learning experience and you can win prizes.

I got an urge to make a text adventure game (yes, I read the topic  ), but alas, I have no story...

Hmmm... one of the things allowed is games to be somewhat 'off kilter'... I could imagine a text adventure, with voice acting from PB programmers, and some still graphics using kid's drawings... That's thus much away from regular it just may make sense :-)

FYI: I seem to have huge delays trying to view the Coding Monkeys forum. It hangs for long periods of time waiting for a thumbnail site your using. It makes the site unusable due to these delays.

It could be the reason you have had so few posts in the last month.

thumbnail.iwebtool.com

I'm pretty sure this is the site that is causing the problems. If your using a free tracker then that might be causing problems as well.
