How long had you needed?

At first I downloaded the game Elastic, and couldn't figured out why I only score 25 compared to pjay's 40562.

I realized my mistake and got PBElastic and scored 41000.

I'm in the lead for the moment. :P

Sorry no!
elastic and PBelastic have different highscore behavior.

PBelastic: Better is: lowest time.

That's funny, that's what they told me when I played golf too.

I've updated it, now my best score is 31786. Competitive, who me? :P

It's a fun game.

@IceSoft: I've noticed the PureBasic version seems a little less responsive than The freeBasic version. Is that because it's in a window or by design?

What are you mean with 'little less responsive'?

Well "Speedy," I mean that the elements of the game move slower, react slower, etc. One way this is evident is if you place the player's element's both at one side of the screen on top of each other, then move to the opposide of the screen and wait. The elastic reactions will continue forever with little or no loss in strength. If this is done in the game elastic.exe it would result in only about 15 bounces before the responding element lost most of it's energy.

To put this another way PBElastic is too elastic. The other point, by comparison it looks like your watching a slow-motion replay of the game instead of something in realtime.

OK if you have a Blue Laser Gaming mouse... your scores are not quite as tight... I suspect it is the twiddle factor! If I move my mouse about 3mm the ball shoots over to the other side... Naturally this makes it rather difficult...

My score of 94100 stinks!

I agree... maybe the user could switch between more realistic physics (less possible score) and Hyper-Amphetamine-Abuser physics!!! (bonuses on score (somehow!)) :D
