I happened to visit a Basic forum called 'AllBasic'
http://www.allbasic.info/forum/
It's a new site and they are attempting to have most Basic languages represented, and are looking for someone with some PureBasic knowledge to moderate that particular sub-form topic.
See:

PS - It's good that others are starting to see PureBasic and this will help enlighten those potential new customers.

Why do we need multiple forums? Just send people here.

in my opinion it's no bad idea to have a forum for a lot of BASICs.
... just quite new, not much on yet.

I agree... but the intention of the AllBasic forum is to showcase all versions of BASIC and this forum "may" end up being a good advertising vehicle for us.
I'm sure once the get bitten by PureBasic's language they will gravitate here naturally.

Definatly like the concept.
I would suspect though that if a whole bunch of users of different languages got mixed together it would pretty soon turn into a stupid mutton dagger measuring contest. - ( Maybe a specific section titled "Flames" might be useful on a board like that if it gains any popularity.

)
From looking at those boards, I notice there have already been a couple of languages removed for 1 reason or another.
Still, good concept me thinks.

A kind of 'Coding Monkeys' for Basic languages.
Coding monkeys is itself a good site and has a PB section; I'm just not sure there is a need for another? Personally I get all the help I need right here with a wealth of information available through old postings etc.

the AllBasic Forum is quite young, and I think it's looking quite good so far.
they are still looking for someone who could take the position of a responsible Moderator of the PureBasic Section.
Here is their
Mission Statement:
http://www.allbasic.info/forum/index.php?topic=89.0
and this is the concept of positions there:
http://www.allbasic.info/forum/index.php?topic=37.0
since those who are already involved in PureBasic Moderation here and in other PB Forums
mostly have not enough time and energy left to take over more work,
it would be nice if one of the experienced PB-Users who is no Moderator yet would voluteer for this position.
Myself I got enough to do with moderating the German PB-Forum and other issues,
I could at max help as an Advocate, but not be Moderator there.

Might take a closer look afer all, Seeing that mission statement page, I notice the last two names of team members on their list are from the Powerbasic forums (although not aphiliated to powerb).

well, I don't know the PowerBasic Forum, but erosolmi is also a Member here.

anyways, what would be the problem in that?
if you join AllBasic and become Moderator (for wich Basic ever), your name will be on this list as well.
btw:
they abandoned the PowerBasic Subforum because of Bob Zales policy,
and those guys you mentioned are not on AllBasic because of PowerBasic...

Sorry, I wasn't at all clear there
I meant to imply that noticing them on the list was a reason to take a closer look as they are people I've known to be good contributors in the past.
