Stepping Through Code In A Hidden/Collapsed Block

Could something be done so it will automatically expand a collapsed section or at least highlight it when you are stepping through code?
So many times, I'm stepping through and then it calls a procedure that is hidden and I think something is wrong because there are no highlights or jumps, the current line step position just disappears.
If you couple this with multiple files, you are in for a "fun" time.
