Everything else that doesn't fall into one of the other PB categories.

150$ for HGE wrapper

Post by zxtunes.com »

I need HGE wrapper for PureBasic 4.xx.

I am ready to pay 150 $ (or little bit more).

It in general really to write and how it is fast?

HGE documentation - http://hge.relishgames.com/doc/index.html

HGE is powerfull game engine, I think what not one I am ready to pay for wrapper, thus that who will write it can earn more than one I am ready to offer.

p.s. Source of HGE wrapper for FreeBasic: http://dalex.ucoz.ru/_ld/0/2_hgewrsrc.rar

Discussion about this wrapper has been raised before on this forum. Perhaps search for HGE or Haaf and see what you find. There's been at least one attempt to port the wrapper but I think it was abandoned.

byo and I were working on it. I am really too busy at the moment to unravel a VC dll. But there are newer tools out there to do just that!

It's not HGE but PureGDK is about to be released shortly which might do just what you want.

PureGDK has a great sprite library and also supports additional sprite commands from the eXtends and 2D Plugin Kit plugins for DarkBasic Professional.

Coupled with Diggsey's Box2D wrapper you'll have a very capable 2D engine with physics:

Yes. But that's not a bad thing. DBPro is a great engine with a plethora of commercial and free plugins to expand its functionality. :)

Hi, zxtunes.

I am working on it and I have a few examples working already. I had to stop for some time because time was not on my side. I have a job, college and courses going on. :D

If you're willing to support with that amount, I'll resume working on it and finish as fast as I can.

Let me know. ;)

Kind regards,

byo

Hmm... I'll just delete my work on this... I wouldn't have time enough anyway.

Nice work and thanks, neotoma. ;)

I agree. I have not been this impressed in a long time. Now if the mapeditor was ready all would be cool!

OK ZX. you still gonna hand him the bounty? 8)

I think maybe we could simplify the names in the libset but thats about it!

It is impressive!!!

Great work neotoma! I've noticed a minor bug in tutorial 3 - the sound is not working. The fix is easy - just add the shared variable snd to line 128 (in procedure Main()).
