As an initial experiment, I have migrated one of my applications written in Visual Basic to PureBasic. It is a systray calendar for windows that pop ups and hides when you press win+C.
You can find more information on my
RebCalendar page.

reblujina,
I tried both versions of your calendar program and they work very well.
Of course, the PB version is better - smaller, no runtime needed, etc., that's why we love it!
I did notice that in the PB version, the calendar is not as wide as the VB version, with the same font size.
The day names are squeezed together and are cut off a bit.
Is this something on my system, or has anyone else noticed this?
Regards,
Eric

It does look good though... I have a small suggestion. The Week starts on SUNDAY (Domingo...) on most other calendars... Can you arrange that?

Regarding the first day of the week, there is a file in the same application folder called RebCalendar.ini in which you can configure the first day of the week, besides other parameters.
Regarding the width of the calendar, which language are you using in your OS?
