but as you read on some forums, the equation is funny but wrong!

It says,

"money is the root of all evil"

and this is wrong. According to Wikipedia this is a famous misquotation.

The right quotation is,

"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows"

You can also discuss if "Girls = Time * Money" is right. Shouldn't it be "Girls = Time + Money"?

Nope:

a*a = a^2 (for later use of square root the result will be an integer)
a+a = a*2 (cannot be used with square roots, SQRT(a*2) <> Integer)

Therefore:
Girls = Money * Money
