What's the status on printer support? I'm writing a DLL with PowerBasic which

gonna finish the dll for blitz and convert it to a standard no-blitz-poop-
interface-memory-block-crap dll for use with PureBasic (what is it with all of
these BASIC languages with ZERO printer support btw? It's insane that an output
device that is nearly essential for app programming isn't supported directly by
the language... I can see it more readily with game based languages like blitz
and Darkbasic, but not powerbasic and purebasic...)

Printer lib is planned for v3.0. Anyway, you can port your dll to use with PureBasic, not a problem. What kind of similarities PowerBasic has with PureBasic ? I've tested the demo version and it looks old fashioned (but powerful, that's it).
