Which engine is "better"? Where are their "strengths" and "weaknesses"? I didnt find any topic listing their abilitys and features and I guess even more people could be interested in this.... which engine should be used for what kind of project?....

check both out and see if you can get some stuff working. Id start easy as 3D is a pretty heavy "Element". YSooner or later youll have to rely on some vector math to get what you want while both engines offer some wide standard functions for most stuff.
Dont let yourself get fooled by eye candy as that requires the use of shaders which in general are a bit more complex toi handle but are supported by both engines.
Irrlicht runs on OpenGL aswell not just DirectX like DM.

Original full Irrlicht (irrlicht.sf.net) better (IMHO) than Dreamotion. But available neotoma's irrlichtwrapper for PB does not look serious, only for fun
eg bad 2D features, buggy GUI features...
I don't want to repeat this again

PureGDK is now a PureBasic-capable engine and can compete with both of these.

So..
1) TMyke (Dreamotion team) has told to me about project's current state: "I am really afflicted, because in this moment I really do not have much time."
2) Irrlicht - still very-very active project.
Think themselves
