I just installed 4.10 and when I run programs not I get an error saying the Compiler isn't loaded yet.
What's wrong? How do I fix it?

Could be some sort of library and/or constant conflict.
What kind of 'install'?
Do you get any errors when you load PB?

I just downloaded it from PureBasic.com and ran the install over my current Purebasic 4.0

Had you loaded any additional libraries as part of your original PureBasic environment?
This sort of thing is usually a result of a library/constant conflict.

OIC, I deleted the old files and re-installed fresh and that worked. Thanks.

I had the same problem.
Apparently your method of deleting all the old file versions is necessary for 4.10 to operate correctly.
Older versions never did this.

You don't have to delete all the old files.
You just need to identify the file causing it and eliminate the conflict.
That has been the case with every release I've used (since 3.90).

The exe installer is only for new installs. Not for installing over old directories!
The updater in the zip archive correctly deletes conflicting files from old versions.
So use this to update over an older version.
