MReg System

Hi everyone.

I created a program that allows you to implement registration systems in your programs or games. It is called MReg System.

This program allows you to create users for each program you create and create keys for each user. You can also ban registration keys and certain IPs from using certain keys. I believe that this is a pretty powerful tool and I am still developing it.

Check out the site and download the regular ZIP file, which will include the program, DLL, and Read Me.
http://matt.phpgurus.co.uk/MRegSystem/index.php

The site is still under construction, but I kept it real simple right now.
The site also contains screenshots and demo videos you can watch before you download and to get a better understanding of the program.

Please check it out and let me know what you think.

- Matt

Updates:
Version 2.00:
- Send email internally
- Email templates
- Send mass emails to all (or selected) users in a program
- Remember login details
- Credits
- Version History in Read Me
- Small bug fixes
- Security Updates

Looks very very impressive.
Is this to be and stay free?
I'd hate to impliment something now that I later have to spend hours undoing or have to pay lots of money for.

Thanks,
and yes I plan on keeping it free along with free updates which the program will notify you of if there are any.

Sounds great.
How are the information stored? Iif it's not secure then there is really no need for me to use it.
Sorry to sound negative, but in these days security IS very important.
I do love the simplicity of the program. And offcourse how feature rich it is.

Yes, so far I believe it is secure but I am continuing to make it as secure as I can, difficult when I'm the only person working on it.
The information is stored in a database.

I take back my previous statement on being free.
I might sell it in the future, but I will allow everyone who has previously used the program to continue using it for free, only charging new users for it.

This is really neat. So easy to use and so fast to.
I just make a small test app in PB and it returns all the proper values as I'd expect. Very impressive. And so fast too :)

Great job :)

I do have one suggestion though.
When I enter a user I want to be able to click on a "Send registration details" to the user. Let's say I have one text file for each program, and inside tha text file is a simple template like this:
Dear %USER%.
Here is the registration key for %PROGRAMNAME%:

Username: %USERNAME%
Registration key: %SERIAL%
That would be a great feature. Also allow the program to send the key email internally too ;)

Alright, I have added it to my to-do list!
Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm starting the work on it right now,
just a question, did the 1.05 update work for you?

I tried downloading the zip file but it didn't seem to update. So I downloaded the exe file and replaced it, that worked.

Another suggestion, being able to store the login info so i don't have to re-type it each time I open up the MReg application would be great :)
yeah I know, I'm a lazy bastard ;)
