How Features must be added

I just got thet fastest answer to a fetaure request ever. In the IRC Channel for the Linux Live Distribution GRML which is a LiveCD specifically for Texttool users and system rescue as well as developers I requested the TinyC Compiler to be added to their small formfactor (60 MB) LiveCD, _6 minutes_ later they had added it and it will be in the release coming in a few days. THAT is what I call good service.

Yes! Linux is known to re-act very fast, but this is amazing!

Well, there is quite a difference between slapping a new package (with almost no dependencies) into a distro,
and implementing a feature for which you actually need to write code (and often quite a lot)
That said, iirc i have posted a "added" here once within a few minutes of the request as well,
it was something very simple though.

Hey, don't misunderstand me this is absolutely no criticism on the development of PB in fact PB is probably at least second best in listening to users demand. This is entirely to tell people how cool things can be if developers keep in close contact with their users and lead their project without a manager elite without a clue of the demands. Both of which is very true of the Purebasic development team though it would also be cool to hear a little bit more about the things going on behind the scenes^^
btw: The in the end tcc couldn't be added to grml_small because it needs libc6_dev and we couldn't get it to run with smaller packages like dielibc or uclibc, however it helped to find the bug that tcc was broken on the big version as well as on ubuntu and the big grml version could be fixed.
