Thinking of buying a Lincoln Continental 69

Yeah you read correct.
I saw this car on an annual car meeting here in Bergen a few days ago, haven't managed to think of anything else since. It has a V8 7.5 liter engine, weighs 2,3 tonns and is 5,7 meters long and a little over 2 meters wide. Has suicide rear doors. Just love that car.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with those card. I think it's a Mark III, it's not a convertible and off course has 4 doors.

Here's some pictures of it. It has been in Norway since it was new, and back then it was extremely expensive, even more so then the Cadillac.

This is a 64, but looks the same as the 69:

Looks fabulous, I love those big old boats. But you should probably rename the topic to "Thinking of buying 100 litres of gas a week from now on"

He pay the same as I for a litre (1/4 gallon). 10dkr (1.8$)

Cool car though, and extremely interesting price!

Gasoline here is 12,5 per liter for 95 unleaded. That is 11,40 DKK ;)

We pay around 11 too. It waves up and down.

BUT you are not right. Every source i find says that its actually UNDER 10 NOK, and when i was there just this winther we paid around 10.5 NOK/litre almost everywhere. A bit cheaper than denmark. So either they gave it a kick or you buy your gas a stupid place

Also i saw an old chart from late 2006:
per litre calculated to NOK:

Denmark 10,12
Norway 10,53
Sweden 9,03
USA 3.76

I actually dreamed about that car last night. MTV came to my door to pimp it. Man, it got an Xbox 360, PS3, GPS and a TV on the dash and a big screen under the roof hehehe :)
