I'm on Google Earth :-)

just did the old Post Code check on Google Earth / maps.google and found that the old picture (which was very blurred) has been replaced by a pretty high quality picture.

Can see my house and in the back garden, the picnic table and me & my wife and kids are all sat around it.

How cool is that (in a slightly cheesy "look - you can see our house from here..." sort of way)

The pictures around the area where I live have a resolution about 1 Pixel = 50 meter :(

We got high resolution maps on Google Earth last year in Bergen. All the airphotos were taken by the Bergen County :)

Yeah, give us a link from maps.google.com or something. :)

Here's mine: http://tinyurl.com/37kwo6

My apartment block is in the center of that image (the brown roof a bit to
the right of the purple roof) and it has a little red roof on its lower-right.
I don't know how to put a pin on it because Google's help doesn't say.

So you live 'down under' the red roof?
Nice!

Sorry, bad description: I meant I live in the block with the brown roof, which
has the building with the red roof next to it. Have a look at my third pic in
this thread, and the red roof is at the bottom-left of that third pic:

Aha! Got it.
It looks a bit like California outside.
(never been in Australia)

* Nice tv-set by the way. :P

@Edwin
Seems you're just a two hour drive away from my place. 8)

Twee uurtjes rijden naar het zuiden, mits er geen file staat natuurlijk... :wink:

Not to pop bubbles... that pic is too fuzzy to see much at close range... however if you looked at:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q ... &z=19&om=1

and looked south about 4 houses on the east side (after 2 houses with a pool...) you can see my white Mercedes 190e in the driveway.

the layout of the frontier is sometimes curious. I live a few tens of kilometers of this place.

France is on the left, Switzerland on the right
