What's wrong with Norway?

I'm in Oslo working at the moment and the Norwegian people are really, really nice!
But what about the prices?
A "large" beer (40 cl?!?!?

) €6!!!
In Sweden a beer must be => 48 cl to be called a "large" beer. In Denmark a "large" beer is 75 cl!!
The Hotel - €170 per night
A drink (4 cl) at the bar - €10
Taxi / cab (1 km) - €10
I know that Norway has all these "oil billions", but the salaries must be very high?!? or does the Norwegian people never go out?
(The prices in Norway are twice the prices in Sweden... That's ridiculous!)

lets see. Denmark = rather cheap beer compared to norway.
A drink: 4cl; same price as in denmark on an usual discoteque. weird!
Taxi, 1km: 10€??? thats CHEAP.
Hotel at 170€/night, well we have now taken skiing vacations in norway the last 4 years, living at nice hotels and renting big places [we are only 4 but we like lots of space and luxury things

]
Usually we find it not too bad. Its not too much different from denmark, the prices. EXCEPT cars which costs 1/3rd in norway compared to denmark eheh

What is cl?
How can 40 cl be €6 and 4 cl €10?
*One more question: In which country is Maxima the wife on the next king?

cl = centilitre = 100ml.
4cl = 4cl alcohol/spirits[vodka etc] in a drink, often with a mixer like bubblewater etc.

1 british pint=56 centilitres and would cost anywhere from £1.50 to £3.00 in and around where I live so that's about 2.25 to 4.50 euros. Not too bad considering everything else in this country is so damn expensive.

Didn't we have a discussion like this last year? And I think techjunkie started it. Something about pizza...

That's true - but I always get upset by the prices in Norway... *lol* Then I have to throw my *anger* into the PB community - and it helps... Hehe...

Don't know about that...

Hookers aren't allowed in Sweden. Well, Hookers are allowed, but not "buyers". That's logical. :roll:
