Hiya,
I have a little problem, my main pc has gone tits up in a big way and i have to reinstall XP, the problem is i have a girls phone number on D: (a NTFS partition) and i cant read it, ARGGGG! My XP cd is knackered, the only other i have is a WinME cd, and a Win98 boot disk (floppy), any ideas how i can read the NTFS partition. I'm supposed to be taking this rather nice girl out on Sunday and i've lost her number DOH!!!!! I have a fully functional laptop with net access but no LAN to the knackered PC, HELPPPPPPPP!! this is so typical!!!

Download NTFSDOS from here:

Then, unzip it to a floppy disk, and boot with that floppy. Then,
run NTFSDOS.EXE and you'll be able to access your NTFS drive as if
it were FAT16/32 -- except you can't write to it. You can copy/read
files off it, though, which is what you want.
