What is this life good for?

A basic yet complex question about these lives of ours. What do we do with them? I mean, if we only have _one_ life, how do we spend it without wasting it?

Do not waste it on religion! You don't have to feel guilty for being human. Survival and mutual respect are the most important things. We must revel in our time, we only have one life. Because any moment might be our last, everything is more beautiful because we're doomed.

Living for God gives life sense. That makes life great! And after this a new, eternal life...
I just hope that I can take my USB-stick with favorite programming projects to heaven

I agree with that... what would life be without sex? Would there be life if there was no sex?

The primary goal of life is to reproduce.
Everything else is either secondary to or supports that goal.

The sense of life depends on the person whose life it is.
To be a target for the others seems to be my sense.
So, no sense in life
It´s good for nothing!!!!

I voted for 'nothing'. Just waiting for the next life or whatever.

Personally I think that we make sense and order of the chaos.
I also believe that this creates conflict within us. We want the chaos, we need the chaos, but as soon as we find it we are compelled to reduce it, then we order it and we destroy it.
Basically we can't have our cake and eat it. We want the cake, but then we eat it and then we have no cake.
That is the paradox of our existance. We are happiest in the striving, and never satisfied with the success.
If there is a god behind this, then his schemes are far beyond our comprehension. I also suspect that we play a much small role in his creation than the one we assign ourselves. Or to put it another way, we have underestimated him and overestimated ourselves.
