My Fedora6 works with PB4 beta 3
But sometimes PB4 crashes with itself - a sudden dies away without any warning

Start it from a console window and see what error message you get.

I am actually starting from a console with the following commands
purebasic &
When it dies, the console does not have any error codes.

Maybe you should leave the "&"
