I get an error with ver 4beta2 in spritetest.pb

I get a linker error with ver PB 4 beta2 for linux while compiling spritetest.pb source included in the examples dir.
is it a bug? or i miss something?

Do you have SDL-devel installed?

I installed making this:
sudo apt-get install libsdl1.2-dev
Do you refer to that?

Yes, sorry:
Error: Linker
can't found -lXxf86vm
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Install Xorg*-dev or X11*-dev or whatever it's called.

Now i don't get any error, but my kubuntu freezes completely

Do you have XGL/AIGLX enabled? This can cause crashes - that's not PB's fault.

Ubuntu?!?

Try running version 6.06 or 6.10 on VMWare! It freezes all the time! I will dump-untu Ubuntu!!

I will switch to Linux Enterprise 4 (Oracle version) or CentOS.

That's not a good idea... Try OpenSUSE 10.2 with KDE.

Dunno, not sure coz it freezes after y push compile and run, i will test somethings and then i could answer to that.

After using a bit OpenSUSE and Linex (a specific distro made in spain) i realize Kubuntu, knoppix and Slax are ver crappy, and i will swap to OpenSUSE i think (latest Fedora distro freezes completely during installing process in my K7- 900Mhz, so no doubt it is crappy too).
