When I bought my new computer parts earlier this year, I forgot to buy a new power supply (look at my sign for stats). My old power supply was an silverpower 350 watt with 18A 12v. Since my computer worked like a charm with no problems (expect the maxtor sata and nforce 4 chipset issue, more info here: http://maxtor.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/maxt ... faqid=2685), I didnt bother to buy a new one. But today it died while the computer was running. I tried to turn it on again, but not even a single fan started, and I could here some strange noice from the power supply, even when I disconnected all cables from the power supply to the computer.

I found out today that my gpu requires 20A on 12v and that the cpu requires 18A. My old power supply must have been extraordinary good...

Here's my PSU

It costs $130 alone, but it came with my case

Best PC case and PSU I've ever had :)

Btw, I'm not into amperes but there are some info about my PSU at the botton of the page, not really sure what it means though.
