BT Home HUB issues...

Recently we changed provider to BT, they gave us the HomeHub and promised us a boradband phone, which never came, they gave us a wireless house phone and promised hte broadband phone at a later date.

Anyway, before the HomeHub we got 2.7meg over our internet connection using our old router. After the HomeHub, we now have a 0.4 meg connection (paying for 3 meg) and we can not seem to get anythnig higher. We thought the issue would just be with the HomeHub, so we plugged our old router back in, now we have the same issue with that, 0.4 meg. What is going on?? We tried to ring the helpline but after 3 hours of waiting and listening to the most boring music in the world we gave up. We are paying for 3 meg, and only getting 0.4 meg on a line we know is perfectly capable of producing 2.7 meg for over a year, so any ideas?

Asl, whilst im at it, also since the new HomeHuib the booting of my computer disables the internet for every computer on the lan for over 15 seconds, this ONLY happens when the homehub is connected, so any thoughts for any of this?
