The installer wants to install to the purebasic directory, to make sure all the files are placed in the correct directories (you have no idea how many messages I got because of wrong installations). If you don't like it, just unpack the installer manually (the installer is basically a self-extracting zip file, so you can open it with any archiver [7-ZIP, WinRAR, WinZIP, etc...])

Thanks, that's good to know. I had to "move" my PureBasic installation because of a disk failure and was unable to install the PureColor update because the registry still shows the old location (a non-existant partition). This should solve that problem
