12inch screen? That is incredibly small. You can 17" screen on many machines nowaday, even with widescreen.

Ultraportable is nice, but I like the XPS 2010 better. I'll try to get something similar (with a better battery life)
next time, instead of a new ordinary machine.

haha

Don't you get it? He wants an ultraportable laptop. Don't you think a laptop with a 12" screen is a bit smaller than one with a 17" screen???

(any you can go larger than 17" :) )

Yeah I wanted the 12", and it is a wide screen. Don't forget the 256mb
graphics card. ;)

With all the power mgmt activated on this laptop. I'm getting 7.5 hours
of time on it before needing to charge.

It's the 9 Cell Battery, not the 6 Cell.. ;)

Oh.. getting 80fps playing COD2 ;) on my little monster.

Screen size doesn't matter to me right now. I'll be buying a 24" to use
when I'm home. But having a 4.1 lb laptop is SOOO nice.. I had the
Inspiron 8200 for 4 years. You could kill 2 people with that one, at the
same time.. lol

But anyhow, I'm selling that one. And it's quite decked out.

Not bad :) The one I use now is a hp pavillion ze5600, and must be THE laptop from hell.

With a 2Mb graphics card and 10 minutes startup/shutdown times I'm getting 1hr30 minutes
before it rolls over.

Hmm, I'm selling my 8200. It has (off the top of my head):

- 2.4ghz P4 Intel
- 1gb Ram Kingston
- 64mb Nvidia 440 Go Video Card
- DVD Player (left side)
- CD Burner (front left)
- Floppy Drive
- NEW 60gb WD HDD (3 year warranty)
- NEW internal Intel Wireless Pro b/g
- *** 1600 x 1200 Ultra XGA Screen ***

This screen still sells today on Dells site as an upgrade, most of their
laptops come with the XGA, not Ultra XGA.

- Kenneth Cole Leather Bag
- Full Docking Station
- Windows XP Pro
- MS Office Professional
