Software Help - Yahoo Messenger

I am having issues with yahoo, if i right click anywhere (even the statusbar icon) it instantly closes, no error. If i click on most of the toolbar buttons, it closes, no error. I cant work this out, why is it doing this, and how can i fix it, i have redownloaded and reinstalled 3 times now and am running out of ideas...
