Predifined structures (how do you view their definitions?)

I need some help making use of predefined structures (such as POINT).
I know I can insert their names with the structure viewer in the editor but how do I see their definitions?
I would like to do this so I can access its members, modify them, or browse for something to meet my needs (if its already defined).
I think this may have been covered in previous discussions but I am not able to discover a way to search for it that turns up less than thousands of bogus results.
