Hi Everyone,

Just purchased PureBasic...

I'am not new to programming only to PureBasic, I have been programming since 1984.

I'am able to program in 5 different languages, I have also helped to code the Info-Zip Visual Basic Zip and Unzip.

I wrote source code for the book Visual Basic Source Code Library.

I mostily wrote Custom Business Data Base apps for a lot of companies here in the USA.

So I hope to bring some of my knowledge to all of you and hope to have you all help me in PureBasic, I have used Visual Basic since ver 1.0.

I have been watching this fourm for some time now, and just want to say that it was alot of you users here that made my decision to purchase PureBasic.

I'm also have been a MS Beta tester for over 9 years now and i'm beta testing the DirectX 9.0 beta 2 right now.

I'm also A++ Ceritified and was a computer technicain and network technicain for 15 years.

I now work for Pitney Bowes DMT (Document Messaging Tecnologies).

So I hope to make friends with alot of you on these forums and I hope to be able to help alot of you out.

Enjoy.

P.S.

Cant wait to start programming in PureBasic!

Hi SoulTaker,

Since purchasing PB last year, I've grown to
like it very much.

It's becoming a very powerful alternative to many
languages out there. It's certainly among the most
powerful of the "BASIC" languages. It can do a lot,
but stays out of your way.

Here's a must have web site to add to your favorites:

For a lot of sample code snippets... try:

Hope you find this forum as friendly and useful as I do.

Hello SoulTaker and welcome.

Probably I will not have a lot to give to you but rather to take if you have a large MS experience.

People skilled as you are have much to do with Purebasic using API.

Enjoy this forum and Purebasic.
