Tile map

Hello everyone I know this is a real noob question, but could someone give me a very basic example of how to load and display a tile map. Ive tried to use the examples that have been posted on this sight, but all of the sorce codes are gone for some reason. I have been trying to figure this out and im just lost.Thank you in advance!

I can show you how to draw a map using tiles from a tileset, that's what you want?
