Hello
,
I'm a noob in spanish, so can you tell me if there's something wrong(and if yes, what's wrong?):
Nuestro ciudad preferida es Berlin y esta Alemaña.
La señal de Berlin es el Brandenburger Tor.
Hay los edificios, por ejemplo el Reichstag.
El es no muy lejos del Brandenburger Tor.
Mucho políticos trabajan en el Reichstag.
Otro ejemplo es la catedral de Berlin.
Es en la isla de Spree.
Spree es un rio grande de Berlin.
Además hay muchos museos y teatros.
Debido a las muchas plantas Berlín no es una ciudad grande generalmente.

Ths would be correct, IMHO:
Nuestra ciudad preferida es Berlín y está en Alemania.
El símbolo de Berlin es la Puerta de Brandemburgo.
Hay edificios, por ejemplo, el Reichstag.
No está muy lejos de la Puerta de Brandemburgo.
Muchos políticos trabajan en el Reichstag.
Otro ejemplo es la catedral de Berlín.
Está en la isla de Spree.
Spree es un rio grande que pasa por Berlín.
Además, hay muchos museos y teatros.
Debido a las muchas plantas Berlín no es una ciudad grande generalmente. <-- I don't understand what this means

Thanks for correcting
. The last sentence should mean the following: "Because of the many plants, Berlin is no usual big city."

This is a correct and educated way to talk about a place:
Nuestra ciudad preferida es Berlín, la cual se encuentra en Alemania.
El símbolo predilecto de Berlin es la Puerta de Brandemburgo.
Hay majestuosos edificios, por ejemplo, el Reichstag.
El cual se encuentra en las proximidades de nuestro símbolo.
Muchos políticos trabajan en el Reichstag.
Otro ejemplo es la catedral de Berlín, la cual se encuentra en la
isla de Spree.
Spree es un hermoso río que pasa - en su trayecto final - por el centro de Berlin.
Además, hay decenas de museos y teatros.
Debido a que hay muchas fábricas, Berlin no es la típica ciudad grande.
I used the last part from Psychophanta, seems ok but doesnt make sense to talk about that.
"Since theres lots of industrial plants, Berlin is not the tipical big city" ...
Anyway, no one will believe you wrote that

talking to Darkdragon , he told me that 'plants' is referred to trees, flowers, etc everywhere in the city, including in streets, ...
however i don't understand what kind of plants he is talking about.
Every city , i think, have trees and plants in the streets,...

You're opening a big chapter with that phrase, you better talk a little more about how different Berlin is and why its your preferred city in that case.
I think I hit the nail though.

may be this is a correct translation:
Gracias a que hay muchos árboles y plantas, la ciudad no aparenta ser la típica ciudad super-industrializada.

"ser es la" < wrong...
"ser esa" < correct...
I think that adding "super" just trashes the whole text
- But, depends on the context... He didnt state anything about that.

Hmm... well wikipedia says it has many plants, so it isn't a usual city like others.

It's just not the typical urban city thats all. And thats good also .

Nah, mejor una traducción correcta antes que una fácil / simple.
Despues de todo, es la unica manera de aprender correctamente!.
No deberias hablar en portugués vos?
