Anyone using Dapper Drake with PureBasic? I'm getting reports of errors running my app on it and wanted to save myself some trouble shooting time...

Any help would be appreciated.

I am. But I haven't messed with PB in quite a while. I'll have to check later tonight.

Based on what I've read on the forums, its still not ready and many progs are having issues. It might be too early since it is still beta.

That is what I was thinking also. Hmmm... Maybe I'll download it and mess around with it this weekend...

Thanks!

Yeah, I am anxious to start using XGL/Compiz on my new Athlon X2 4400, but when you read the horror stories of people who have upgraded - its scary. The two big hurdles for me are VMWare and Crossover, both of which are known not to work in Dapper.

Using dapper here 90% since beta 1, haven't found any issues other than the glade2pb converter which crashes on dapper. Everything else is working perfectly even the pb ide works great and so do the examples, except the color requester and the messed up scintilla gadget in the gtk2 version. Don't think though that dapper isn't ready, it's really stable. They only annoying thing is that I get about 70 updates a day which shows how hard they work on it. I think that the problem with glade2pb is part of a bug with gtk2, I must say that I also get minor problems with other apps for example I had green boxes in the scroll bars and so on, some of these problems seem to be gone since some updates.
edit: The green boxes in the vertical scrollbars also seem to be specific to the human theme with clearlooks it works...

That is good news. I want to convert my current Breezy setup but I think I will wait until the final is released in June. I might even upgrade my hardware so I can do XGL also.

Thanks!

I have xgl installed here but unlike the rest of the system it still feels like beta software.
btw: My system was upgraded from Hoaray trhough breezy to dapper.
