So how many registered PB users are going to put their user/pass into that thing and have them stolen? Oldest trick in the book, it's been around as long as computers in one form or another. Before the internet it was called a "sleeper", the modern term for it is "phishing". Gotta be careful of stuff like this.

What if I'll order there?

This is not phising, and you are perfectly safe to both login and download PB as you are to order. Every link points to the real PureBasic site. It just translates the first page.

It may very well be innocent, but there's no harm in being careful
What worries me is that the login screen asks for a user and pass but the location in the address bar is not
http://www.purebasic.com. When that's the case it's possible for a site like this to snatch the info before passing it on and feeding it to the actual site. You wouldn't even be able to tell it happened.

In my Firefox it does show the correct
www.purebasic.com address in the address bar for the login screen. This combined with the fact that the html-code doesn't reference anything offsite makes it quite safe.
But ofcourse you should always be careful, that's what the "view source" is for

I advise you to NOT use that translated page for ordering or login. Just wanted to show you some funny translation of the main PureBasic page.

Not with my Firefox. Do you mean the "Download" login screen?

Yes, and in the address bar it shows: "
http://www.purebasic.com/securedownload/Login.php"

Hmm, maybe your Firefox is configured to open links in new tabs or something?
Is there still a frame at the top for PureBizzle when you view that link? There is
for me. I'm using Firefox v1.5.0.1 -- what about you?
