Hello everybody
I am new here and have only beginners
experience with PureBasic. I would like
to use the Autoit3 dll in combination with
PureBasic and make programs like
Beach and Sparky showed in their
examples. Can someone tell me where
to I have to copy the Autoit3 dll or how
to call it as a lib ?

Thanks in advance

If you use it has a Dll just place it in the same directory of the executable or into windows System32 folder.

Has for the code, check out the examples..

Thanks Num3 for the info.

Yes. after hours of searching I found 2 zip files
on purebasic.net called CodeArchive.

They are packed with loads of examples, really what
purebasic beginners like me need.
In fact they are so usefull that they should be
mentioned with links in the PureBasic Help !

I found PureBasic by coincedence after months
of surfing on the net. I came from Autoit3 to
QBasic, PowerBasic , RealBasic , ibasic (pyxia) ,
MoonrockBasic, but they all never fitted.

I think Fred should change the text in the Help File
and on the purebasic website to make it more clear
for beginners what purebasic actually is compared
with C/C++

The power and speed of C/C++ but the ease and
simplicity of Basic !

I think this would put the focus on PureBasic more
clear and attract a lot more people faster !

I wished I found PureBasic years before !
but better late then never :)

Greetings

Use the search function of these forums.... That might help too!

About changing the site...

Hum... Better not, cause then it would ruin the surprise for newusers
