Im sure some of you saw my previous version of fendez notepad, which used the stringadget. This version uses the scintilla gadget instead, and has some very new welcome features! The newer version has features such as bullet points, inserting of a preset name, address, phone number, ect. It also has the ability to insert the current date and time, and can save the file as a password encoded .fen file without any errors. This mimics windows notepad almost completely, and as said, has some new, and some imrpoved features, take a look for yourselves:

As you can see, by comparrision to the previous version (here) this has many imrpovements with its visual and physical functions.

There are minor differences in some of the functions, for example, the encryption method for the .fen files has changed, this is due to the source code being released for the previous version, and i do not wish for the files to become any less secure than they already are.

Please note that some of these screenshots were taken on Windows Vista, and therefore notepad will not look exactly alike to them.

UPDATE: I have suceeded in making a .dll file for the encryption. This means that i will be releasing the source of 1.2 for all of you to see any time soon. However because i am releasing this for Fendez.com i need to wait for a release on the site before posting it here, just though i would let you know.

Yes my vista copy is completely legal to get that sorted, im not into warez. But i would apreciate some comments on what i posted, as wells as any questions you may have.

I think it looks very nice. Just sad you havent uploaded the newest source

Well if im going to have encryption in it, and i release how i did it, its unfair on the users, which is the main reason why, if i change it at some point i will release this source.

Why not just have the encryption in a dll compiled seperately. That way, you can release the source and just let the dll follow..!
