Browser based HTML Massive multiplayer game, nothing fancy but it is written in Purebasic and SQLite. No eye candy but it is functional [hope so]
I've only tested it with MSIExplorer 6.
I did a temporary work around the port 80 VOL block until I can find a better solution, hence the port 78 reference on the weblink.

Test my Game server at this site...

I posted this in the Game forum also. No downloads, commitments, register [ info doesn't have to be real] , login and look around... its merely a test.

StarGate - Change the name, because it's licensed and you aren't allowed to use it.

it's because some people already tried making games called "StarGate" and "StarGate whatever" and they were not allowed to name it like that.

Stargate is a trademark, not a license from what litlle I gather. Stargate whatever in various forms have trademarks owned by different companies and not necessarily computer software related. Products under the various names may have a license but there is no 'StarGate Troopers' Trademark or product with that name that I know of.

Heh, I think he meant that people cannot really legally sue you for using "StarGate" in your title, even though it is used by tons of different companies for tons of different products ... all it takes is one company with deep pockets to sue you through the corrupt american court system  And unless you have, or have access to, deep pockets, they win ...

Likewise no lOgin under FireFox 1.0.7 this is the error:

INVALID PAGE REQUEST

This page request is invalid or nonfunctional at this time.
Processing Time: 0 ms | Page Length approx. 654 bytes
Also trying to "learn more" i get "file not found" (white page)

An other name why not call it StarRing troopers??? Nobody in her right mind can sue you and everybody who is a STG member (i have series 1 to 8 on DVD) knows instantly what is ment with the name!!!

Goodluck

I installed Firefox 1.5 to c. Yes the overview link had a \ instead of a / ... fixed that... Otherwise everything works the same as IE except Faction Anthems (sound), but that is a HTML issue with different browsers. I'd be curious for someone else to test it with FireFox 1.5

Problem is split header. Only shows up with FireFox when run from remote machine. Not Split at local machine reason I couldn't duplicate it at first. Thanx all 4 the bug hunt.

FIXED IT, should work now.

Not sure. I have a Dyanmic IP redirector for now so it takes time to update.
