Of course I remember Andrew Braybrook's Uridium for C64!!

Wasn't it the first game with parallax scrolling on C64?
Great clone! I love it!!

I definitely remember Uridium. Top stuff! So is Paradroid next?
I encountered a problem though - the game crashed when I died by colliding with a turret. My 2D shoot-em-up skills have atrophied through lack of use.
Mind you as noone else has posted such a report, it's probably specific to my computer.

Parallax scrolling was around long before Uridium.
Uridium was the first game to have full screen scrolling at 50fps.
It was also deadly addictive.

For C64? In games? (Not in demos)

I didn't think the C64 was capable of 50fps. Mind you I'm hardly the expert. I grew up on the Amstrad.
