I'm not even going to mention my father who communicated with aliens through a spirit named Vidar...

I have looked into the subject of UFOS and after over 10 years I have come to believe that we are not alone

It always amazes me what we, the humans on this planet invent

now just think what if a race of creatures out in the far reaches of space were 10 thousand years ahead of us or a billion why would they want to talk to us - we would be like ants to them IMHO

I have not proof personally of (or claim such proof) aliens visiting Earth at any point in time.

But...

I believe that it's very realistic to believe there are aliens. To me it's just a numbers game.

Which brings up the topic of god (8,000+ gods are claimed by the world's populations), logically, to me.

People will use blindfaith to believe in god but yet they will not use the same blindfaith to believe or even concede the possibility of aliens.

It's not like there is any proof (no, the Bible is not proof of any god, it was obviously written by humans) of any of these 8,000+ gods.

Still, we have proof of ourselves, and we are aliens to others out in the universe.

So, in eseence there is proof of aliens!

And conversely, people who aren't willing to believe there's a God are
quite willing to believe in aliens, even though both haven't seen either.
Seems like both are engaging in blind faith to me!

I think, the possibility of extraterestrical live is very high.
There are billions of starsystems with similar prerequisites for live like the earth.

In the universe would be to much space, if we are would be alone.

I have my own reasons to believe in aliens, no "blind faith" here. (i also believe in spirits/ghosts)

Isn't there some sort of study somewhere that says the probability of intelligent life elsewhere is high, but the probability of intelligent life elsewhere in the same time-frame as ours is very low?

Can't find it, can't remember where I read it (book, online, etc) but I think they were saying that when you take not only space, but time, into consideration, you almost have to have aliens, with some degree of advanced ( > stoneage) civilisation.

But if you narrow it down to now, the probability gets very low indeed.

I had a little green man once. But scrubbing vigorously with a good brand of soap fixed that little problem.

I'd have to say that i believe alien life does exist. It would be pretty arrogant to think that we're all alone in near-infinate space.

But, i don't necassarily believe that they have ever visitted us. I mean, space is big... REALLY big, and if aliens did have the technology to travel across it, i'm sure there's much more interesting places to visit. If they're really advanced enough to travel that far, i doubt there is much of anything that they could learn from us. If anything they would just stop in to watch and laugh at how inferior we are.

Being so advanced and acting like jerks? That wouldnt happen. Only a human would do that; Hey little fella whats wrong? your code wont compile? *laughs at his face* . See you are not advanced at all, immature maggot!.

So thats why they wouldnt laugh at you. They might think about it, but wont do it.

They sure exist. And how in earth I dare to speak about them like this?, well nothing wrong was said.. I believe in them rather than in any god since I think thats something more likely to happen.. (aliens existing) than those other impostors...
