Hello,

Here in The Netherlands there is a shop where they sell PureBASIC v2.90 for 28 Euro's.
On the box is written 'Standard Edition'.

See this link:

My question is:
Can i register and upgrade this version?

Thanks in advance for any future comments.

No, you can not upgrade it without extra costs
Better buy online...as the price is going to go up a little bit for V4

Now, and that's the problem.

There is no other shops in The Netherlands where they sell PureBASIC

And i am not an American Express owner nor am i an VISA owner

So the only choice i have is to send cash! But since the only store is in France and dunnow to who i must send it to ( i.e name of the person ), i'm just a little afraid...

The only Languages i bought in Holland is BlitzBASIC and BlitzBASIC3D, this they sell in holland.

I really beginning to like PureBASIC more than both BlitzBASIC that i own.

So as long there is no solution for me, i must face the sad fact and keep using the Demo version

Greets...

mvg,
Yerrel

This is maybe a bit off-topic but I must say that Russia took a little bit too long step. I was namely in Russia a couple of weeks ago and they were selling PureBasic 3.70 on a burned CD! Those people do everything that's illegal. One time I was cheated when I bought a Moorhuhn game from the same shop, because when I come back to home, all I find is Setup.exe and Keygen.rar! I was fully pissed off, I didn't take any legal steps, but I burned the CD; I did NOT copy it to another CD, I burned it with flames

@Fred: I think you maybe know there are illegal versions of PB everywhere, but the boxed version of PB in russia costs 47€!!! Man, I will never go there anymore and that's my last word

@Yerrel: don't know if you still need the information: if you can't buy it online via credit card it's also possible to use the regular bank transfer (within the EURO zone also with no additional costs if you're using the IBAN/BIC numbers). Take a look here: http://www.purebasic.com/offlineordering.php3

Piracy is like cockroaches... you can stop them, but they'll keep reproducing themselves. :(
