Now that the IMAC x86 version is shipping ... hopefully we'll see a PB MAC x86 version down the road :)

How will this impact the current development of PB4?

No impact, as doing this port should be straightforward (x86 asm is already working and tested, thanks to linux and windows, and all the OS X libs are written in C, bet why...).

but it does mean you will have another version to support?

it's not really another version (i hope :)). But for now we have things to finish and x86 macs will time some time before having enough users.

Also I would be willing to guess PB runs using the Rosetta powerpc emulation built into the x86 versions
