Hi everyone!

Yes! it's finally here! :D

Sorry it's taken so long to get the beta out, i've been inundated with Uni work the past couple of months (still have 3 assignments to do :( argh!!) anyway here's the download link:

Current Version 0.53

http://www.hashdesign.co.uk/ProGUI.rar

Examples:

http://www.hashdesign.co.uk/ProGUI_Examples.rar

Please bare in mind this is an early beta, still loads of commands/functionality to add. The dll will timeout after about 5 minutes per use so you can test it out with your apps. The docs are pretty self explanatory however there arn't many examples included yet (simply havn't had the time to do them) but i will be adding examples when i can and of course i will try and answer any questions on this thread.

Anyway, i hope you all find it useful and please post any bugs or suggestions/improvments/features you would like adding!

Cheers! and thanks for your patience!

Chris.

Hi,

it's really nice :)

But I have a strange effect when closing the program:
PureBasic still shows it like the program is still running and I have to kill it first before running it again... the process is seems to shutdown properly, only the PureBasic IDE doesn't seem to notice.

Any idea?

thefool, zikitrake:

The price is based on the final version with all the stuff i have planned but i will probably lower the price now that people think it's a bit steep! :)
I don't expect anyone to buy it in it's present beta incarnation lol

doodlemunch:

The dll is so big due to the amount of coding required, this simply isn't an API wrapper. The code is mostly huge callbacks and custom routines that you would have had to code yourself anyway i.e. making your exe just as big.

Ani-chan:

Yes i noticed this myself the other day. I know whats causing it so hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to fix :)

Anyway, glad ppl like it :)

any bugs, feature requests, let us know!

Only bug i found was that it didnt shut down properly.. The components were flicker free, etc..

Some things i wouldnt mind: Simple button-skin gadget. You know a button with transperrancy around the shape of it, and then the procedure should only take 1 image when mouse over, 1 image when nothing on it and 1 image when clicked.

A way to make cool progressbars. Own window titlebars, stringgadgets, edit gadgets etc..

These arent feature requests, its just things i would personally really like to see :)
