Has anyone had any experience with Brinkster's hosting service?

Not the freebie (if they still do that) but for their paid sites.

They appear to offer some good deals from tiny to dedicated server with both windows and linux. Are there any downsides that anyone knows of? Upsides?

Thanks!

I use www.websitesource.net because I need multiple hosting and a dedicated IP address for the remote server.

If you look into the small-print you may find they are better value than Brinkster.

I've been using them for a few months now and have had no problems at all.

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Hi DoubleDutch,

Thanks for the link, I will check it out.

I currently use http://www.protecweb.co.uk and they are ok. However I am considering a new venture and am looking around.

I want something where I get a dedicated server and some degree of control over how I use it - but with local support of same - at least at a base level. And at reasonable cost. :)

Edit: Just about my entire resource base is for windows. Will go linux if the benefits outweight the conversions/development.
