PB on mac need a PPC processor the Basilisk II emulates a mac with a 680x0 processor. So you won't be able to run PB on that emulator..

For a mac emulator with Mac OS 9 and <, i strongly advice
Basilik II JIT wich use the JIT engine from WinUAE, the speed is greatly improved.
Better than PearPC,
SheepShaver use also a JIT engine and require less power to achieve a good performance (look at
this).
Btw, you will only need a MacOS image.

But you will have to emualte Mac OS X for PB and as far as I know this is only possible with pearpc. Maybe this will or has

changed with the x86 version.

Hi Zikitrake!
You don't need a new partition for PearPC, it use "disk images".
http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/idesetup.html
Basilisk II is really good, but only runs MAC OS 8.1 or lower... (68k MACs)
SheepShaver runs MacOS 7.5.2 thru MacOS 9.0.4.
The only one I have seen that is free and run MAC OS > 10 is PearPC. If anyone knows of another - please let me know!!
