Here thats becoming normal though my feelings are mixed. In our school one even hears the girls saying rofl and lol and so on. It's hard to resist

-_- I hate that I have to say, my school-class is always saying LOL, ROFL, LMAO, ROFLMAO, ... in reallife, and teachers even call a boy with his nickname in games.

If you do, step away from the keyboard and go get a girlfriend (or two). QUICK.

I haven't ever said it in a conversation, but I often worry I will!

I always do so, there have been times, when I just couldn´t laugh. If something was funny, I only said "lol". But thats over now
BTW: It´s a bigger problem, if you write an English classtest and you write
If he hadn´t done this the man had died EndIf.
That´s a real problem

Never said "lol" or any accronym like that.. But sometimes when I think about it, it pisses me off because I almost said it.
I used to make some programming jokes with my brother (no comments, I know its nerdy) Though, but its - almost - over.
You could however talk like this in a shop:
Hello sir I need SizeOF(fruitPack) of this fruits, how much?
Who would notice?

Heheh, if he answers that, then we've got something called nerd communication going on. The holy N2N (nerd 2 nerd) communication.
ah español! que bien
al menos hablas español?
(translated for those buggers who doesnt know spanish: "ah spanish, good!, at least you speak spanish?")
