More fun about the PB site

Not a problem, I love PB, but the PB site really need to be reworked.
I'm reading that in the last news :
"- The IDE and debuggers are fully written in PureBasic".
I guess this mean that Scintilla has been written in PB ? Or that Scintilla is taking part of the language of PB ?
BTW, the MacOSX should be listed in the supported platform (and the Amiga removed :D)
There's a lot of stuffs like that, for example :
"fully portable between AmigaOS, Windows and Linux"
Mmmh, Windows and Linux, maybe. But AmigaOS  ?

(this is not a criticism, but the PB website is really unclear, someone should remake it, and should change the design to a more commercial one :))

@Polo:
i agree with you! There are some more things that should updated like screenshots of IDE and so on... my idea ist one picture splitted in 3 vertical parts... representing a part of Windows/Linux/MacOS IDE... so everybody can see on one screenshot that there are different frontends for Win/Linux/Mac! ;)

- The link of "Racing Test" is broken very long time... just remove it and replacing with something more quality...
- screenshot of windows GUI appz, should showed with enabled XP skin! ;)
- Update download link of LinuxDemo to 3.94 ;)
- Why is the their only a download link for the LINUX version of MIDAS.dll and not Win32 too?
- News Section: Show only last 2 versions of one system! and add "v4 is in progress... be patienced" so people see that the project isnt dead ;)

"No external DLLs, runtime interpreter or anything else required when creating executables" - its not really correct, because when using OGRE ;)

What about "showcase.purebasic.com" ? ;-) A section where we can add screenshots of new games / intros / demos... so people may see a lot of interesting stuff written in purebasic... same as darkbasic/blitzbasic it has...

I agree. If the website was more interactive, it would have more user watching it.
Sorry to say that, but the website, without being ugly, is not attractive.
A good example ? Go to the Darkbasic website. Darkbasic is a real crap, but the publicity for it is so well done, the website so catchy, that there are many many user using it.
Fred should pay someone to do a good website, because for the moment it's not good at all.
But of course, if we can say that Darbasic's website is far better than Purebasic's one, we cannot say the same for the languages :)

Yes, that's why I've chosen this example :) DB is just an useless app, but very well advertised, the website makes a lot in buying the app :)
PB needs this, and as PB is NOT an useless app, it should even increase more the sales (and for us who are already user, a showcase part, along with some cool stuffs would be nice :))
