Wow!
Dare2; PB didn't believe that really you didn't heard about MAME.
Even it seems incredible, there are lot of people related to computers (and even to games and game-consoles) who still don't know about MAME.
BTW, MESS is the name of another project which treats to emulate passed computer machines in general, but this project is too slow nowadays due to, maybe, the current cumputer machines are not enought powerful.

Wrong:
your productivity could drop into the negatives and i couldn't be necessarily in any kind of trouble

And viceversa
Dare, dare, dare ... think twice

If you like MAME and have a Sony PSX, you will really like these:
http://www.doubledutchdesigns.com/emu.htm
They run at full speed, full screen 60hz on an old PSX.
They are full emulation, not re-writes.
You can reconfigure a data file to allow more "similar" hardware games to run.
Hope you like them....

When did you get them? Must have been a while back. I've not had them on the site in quite a while (forgot about them!)...
What did you think about them?

I meant i already have mame for windows working nice, and a PSX too.
About your PSX CD menu, i've downloaded it. I think readme.txt file explain things not too good.
Does it only allow Phoenix, Galaxian, Scramble and Mooncresta?
